FLOODS IN KELANTAN AND TERENGANNU
The annual monsoon rain had arrived and this year is no difference when it claimed the life of a young man in Kelantan. Last year it was more than 10. The situation has not been improved despite efforts and assurances from the authorities and interested parties to improved the infra-structures in those states. History has shown that the massive losses that these states suffer on a yearly basis can in a way be reduced had proper and comprehensive planning be implemented to alleviate the sufferings the rakyat had to endure all this years. However all is not lost if concerted efforts by all concerned are willing to sit down and strategise a comprehensive plan to help reduce this natural disaster. The rakyat is suffering and crying for help and we should do something about it.
